How to claim your free ring resizing
- Find a jeweler. Take your ring to any professional jeweler or jewelry repair shop. Searching "ring resizing near me" is the quickest way to find one. Ask for a quote first, and mention it if your ring is engraved.
- Get an itemized receipt. It should show the jeweler's business name and address, the date, the service (ideally with the old and new size) and the amount paid.
- Send your claim within 60 days of delivery. Email support@radiantkarats.com or WhatsApp +44 7549 568675 with your order number, a clear photo of the receipt and a photo of the resized ring.
- Get reimbursed. We reply within 3 business days. Once your claim is approved, we refund up to US$70 to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
How much does ring resizing cost?
Prices vary by jeweler, metal and design. Sizing down usually costs less than sizing up, which can need extra gold, and bands set with stones take more work. If your quote is above US$70, you can still go ahead and we'll cover the first US$70.
What the free resizing covers
- Resizing a ring bought on radiantkarats.com up or down by up to one full size
- Finishing that's part of the resize, such as polishing or re-plating white gold, within the US$70 limit
What isn't covered
- Resizing by more than one full size. Contact us before visiting a jeweler and we'll help you find the best option.
- Claims sent more than 60 days after delivery, or a second resize of the same ring
- Rings that can't be resized without changing the design, such as full eternity bands or bands with stones or a pattern all the way around. Please contact us first.
- Other work done at the same visit, such as cleaning, repairs or added engraving
- Damage caused during resizing, which is the responsibility of the jeweler who did the work
Resizing, returns and engraving
A resized ring can't be returned for a refund under our Return & Refund Policy. If you're unsure about the ring itself, use your 7-day return window before resizing. If your ring is engraved, tell your jeweler before they start, because resizing is usually done at the base of the band.
Get the size right first
Our rings come in US sizes 4 to 16, in quarter sizes. Check our ring size guide before you order. Buying an engagement ring as a surprise? Order your best guess: if it's off by up to one size, this policy covers you.
Free ring resizing FAQ
Is ring resizing really free?
Yes. We reimburse what a local jeweler charges to resize your ring up or down by up to one size, up to US$70, when you claim within 60 days of delivery.
Do I have to send my ring back to Radiant Karats?
No. Your ring stays with you: a jeweler near you resizes it and we pay you back. There's no return shipping, insurance or customs paperwork.
Can lab-grown diamond rings be resized?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are physically and chemically the same as mined diamonds, and resizing is done on the gold band. A professional jeweler resizes our lab-grown diamond and moissanite rings the same way as any fine-jewelry ring.
Can I use a jeweller in the UK, Canada or Australia?
Yes. Any professional jeweller can do the work, wherever you live. We reimburse up to US$70 in your order currency, converted at the exchange rate on the day we approve your claim.
How long does ring resizing take?
It depends on the jeweler and the design, and simple resizes are often done within a few days. Ask your jeweler when you get your quote.
What if my ring needs more than one size?
Contact us before visiting a jeweler and we'll help you find the best option for your ring.
